Budgets
The budget data first shows the public spend (2016/17) by sector (health, education, public order and safety, etc). Most of the spend on criminal justice is allocated to Public Order & Safety (specifically, police). Since there is no ‘Justice sector’, the budget data showing the allocated budget for each justice institution has been compiled with data from each institution and the line Ministry concerned.
